Trearddur Bay Sailing Club is a family sailing club in Trearddur Bay. The sailing season is focussed on 4 weeks of the summer holidays, late July to late August, where you'll see many races taking place on the water.

Surf and Turf Weekender Festival, Rhoscolyn

A weekend festival of delicious food, drinks and live music, with gorgeous views across the sea! Featuring food stalls, including Nest Fried Chicken Shack, Seafood Bar and The Stores Pizzas, a full bar with beer, wine, cocktails & soft drinks, and a programme of live music throughout the day.

Menai Bridge Food Festival, Menai Bridge

Featuring local, major and artisan food and drink producers, international street food, crafts, music and family fun.

Menai Strait Regattas

The Menai Strait Regattas are raced over a fortnight in late July to early August. The sailing takes place on the Menai Strait, a narrow stretch of water separating Anglesey from mainland North Wales. The majority of the boats racing are classic boats such as the Fife OD, the Mersey Mylne OD, and the Conway OD. The event is largely based at Beaumaris towards the Northern end of the Strait but other venues along the Strait are included.

Anglesey Agricultural Show, Holyhead

The Anglesey Agricultural Show is an annual two-day event held during August at the Mona Showground. ​ The Show offers superbly presented animals and livestock, shopping and exhibition pavilion, equestrian events, craft exhibitors, food hall, produce exhibitions, machinery and vehicle stands as well as much more.

Sandcastle Ball-Run Challenge

Build a track down a sandcastle on which a golf ball can roll! At the little beach at the end of the main beach (next to the old boathouse). Voluntary donations raising funds for the RNLI.

Tour de Mon, Holyhead

Boasting possibly the most beautiful coastline in the whole of the UK this cycle sportive takes you around the beautiful island of Anglesey. Over 1000 riders take part each year and the event has become a calendar highlight for cyclists and local people who support the riders as they pass by with warm Welsh encouragement.

Trearddur Bay Lifeboat Day, Trearddur Bay

Trearddur Bay Lifeboat Day is held every year and is great fun for all the family. Features Artisan Market with food and drink stalls and live music. Raises much needed funds for the RNLI.

Ring O’Fire, Holyhead Breakwater Park

Ring O' Fire is a coastal ultra marathon which takes runners on an extraordinary 135 mile journey around the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales. The epic foot race is staged over three consecutive days and follows the rugged and spectacular Anglesey Coastal Path.
